April 21, 1974125cc and 250cc Experts. look for plenty of Doss, Richard Reeves, Mike Crowley, Wyman, Jody Foust, etc. although I know there in there, but more difficult to catch, you'll see Tim Riddle, Bobby Pickard, Dickey Nowell, Ricky Kidd, Jeff Kring and many others.

OK, I've watched this about 8 times. try clicking between "run" and "pause" to slow the action. Danny and Richard appear to have the track to themselves in the 125 moto. JT, note the Hallman bars on Dan's 125!

the 250 start is great. mid-pack into turn one are a couple of Kawasakis which could be Tracy Mackin, and Greg Sadberry. notice what a poor start Wyman got RARE! that might be Brent Sipes , on a KX, who falls in the turn.

first lap is Doss, Mike Crowley, Jeff Kring (w/ custom Bates "Bultaco" leathers!), Bobby Pickard, Wyman, Tim Riddle (? red leathers and jersey), and Jody. lap #2 its Doss, Crowley, Wyman, Bobby, and Jody. at around 2:40 into the clip you'll see Wyman has (within 1 lap) managed to escape Bobby and has passed both Crowley and Doss! there's maybe 6 seconds seperating Wyman, Crowley, Danny, Jody, and Bobby. awesome!

Paulie, this was April 74' and Danny broke his leg in October 74'. he did ride his first race, post-injury, at Mosier. was x13 months later and he won the 1st moto, as I recall.

Hodakas are just weird. this is no exception. notice the rear shocks, dead vertical, just like the "Stupor" Rat.

This could be a '76, even a '77 model, I think. Haslet Joe has a '77 on the stand right now, and it looks just like it. His has leading axle forks, but his manual says it came with straight legs. New fenders installed by yours truly, and yes, they a…

It must be fast because the front motor mount was engineered for the extreme Greeves power. I believe MKA went to school was Charlie Greeves and will have something German to say on the subject. Martin "poking the bear" Brazil

anyone who ever went fast on a Greeves has my admiration!

1975 model? Mark Pledger went plenty fast on one of these, for a while. David Greenhill also did his share of damage to Jap bikes riding a machine like this.
