Craig was a little older than me and I sometimes raced against him in the mini class. My dad raced against his dad. I remeber you well. I was younger than the guy's I hung around with - Mootzs, Pannell, Burnett, Hance, Brownlee etc... I miss those days at Mosier. I was semi close to Johnny Kimbrell. I worked at his shop off of Grauwyler and at County Line MX Park. I met DeVaughn Mitchell through Johnny K. Talk about wild times when you were 12 -13 years old. So were you and Pickard good friends? He was my idol and I have talked to him on this site.

Tim, I can't tell you how proud I was of you Sunday, and Jeffy too. It was a real thrill to see you guys smoke em on the little 'junkyard dog' Amazing what can happen when you throw some pieces together from 5-6 junk bikes, then put a couple of real talented 'hot shoes' on it to race. Man, I had a blast. Thanks Tim, and we'll do it next year too. Except this year, I'll take a little better care to keep it in the garage and out of the weather. Sure was fun.

HI Tim- I'm just now being able to get on line, I've got a satellite computer hook up and the rain has just let up enough to get on line. I got up at about 6 with the intention on heading out but it was raining so hard I went back to bed. I'll have to try and make it to the next one.Thanks- Mark

Hey Tim- do you think some one will post something on the site if Sundays Wyman race gets cancelled due to the weather? Sure would hate to make that drive in the morning for nothing.- Mark

Hey Tim, I'm thinking now might be a good time to mention those outstanding b/w 8x10 pics from 1971 we were looking at Sunday night. Musta been 100 or more. Maybe we can lure out a few old fossils that were racing in that era to Oak Hill to look at them and get some history. . I'm sure Chris D. will have them there. I remember seeing you, Shelby(Bell Star;no visor!), Doss, Menefee, Finstad, Foust,..........who else ???

This could be a '76, even a '77 model, I think. Haslet Joe has a '77 on the stand right now, and it looks just like it. His has leading axle forks, but his manual says it came with straight legs. New fenders installed by yours truly, and yes, they a…

It must be fast because the front motor mount was engineered for the extreme Greeves power. I believe MKA went to school was Charlie Greeves and will have something German to say on the subject. Martin "poking the bear" Brazil

anyone who ever went fast on a Greeves has my admiration!

1975 model? Mark Pledger went plenty fast on one of these, for a while. David Greenhill also did his share of damage to Jap bikes riding a machine like this.
