Check out the Moto Villa on E-Bay. Big D Cycle has it here in Dallas. Anyone know the history??? Looks like someone was going racing with the extra parts, trick pipe, etc. Probably a ex-works bike. LOL. Maybe I should add this to my vast collection…

Matt,my 76 RM 250 turned out to be a 77,but found out several things about the 76,first put the forks on a shelf, they had a problem about coming apart, they were recalled back then,Tony Boswell at Vintage Suzuki confirmed this, advised me to find early 78 forks, still 36mm,they bolt right on,plus the upper clamp has rubber mounted bar clamps and about 10" travel(i`ve done this to my 77)if your silencer is shot,DG`s universal fit 1 1/8 is a bolt on,sounds great, there`s aguy,Barry Baker in Ohio, comes up with NOS Wiesco pistons for vintage bikes, usually half of what you pay elsewhere. The 82 YZ 125,Yamaha guys say they bypass the steering neck with hoses,i`ve got an 83,i`ll see you at the party sunday,i`m from Longview. Matt, I have a frame, swingarm, triples, forks, and monoshock for the 82 125. 5X4 on the steering head. I race the 80 "G" model. You have a GPIII bike there, as it is water-cooled. I have no use for these parts so I'll make you a good deal if you can use any of it. There is rust on the bare parts of the frame, but the steering seems free. Your 76 RM will be a very competitive GP I bike.

Check the main crank seals on the RM250.... remember having to replace those regularly.

This could be a '76, even a '77 model, I think. Haslet Joe has a '77 on the stand right now, and it looks just like it. His has leading axle forks, but his manual says it came with straight legs. New fenders installed by yours truly, and yes, they a…

It must be fast because the front motor mount was engineered for the extreme Greeves power. I believe MKA went to school was Charlie Greeves and will have something German to say on the subject. Martin "poking the bear" Brazil

anyone who ever went fast on a Greeves has my admiration!

1975 model? Mark Pledger went plenty fast on one of these, for a while. David Greenhill also did his share of damage to Jap bikes riding a machine like this.
