Yes Paul, The 67 Triumph dual carb Daytona I was riding was a highly secret prototype from Triumph. Triumph had signed me as a test rider for their future market releases. The bike was not only water cooled, it was also electronic fuel 'injestion'...

Gosh Joe, I've never even seen anything like that. I've always heard that women like em big, but that's rediculous! Is that thing for real? Or a mock up or something? If it's real, what kind of engine is that? Looks to have a plexiglass primary co...

Yeah Joe, had it happen to me. I was coming out of a drainage ditch (concrete) at warp speed (12 MPH) on my newly restored (put gas in it) Suzuki RV-90. Heading to a buddies house when to my amazement, I had her laid over like Terry Poovey or Fred...

That makes sense Joe, as the logo on the tank looks to be around those years. But I'm certainly not too knowledgable about Maicos. I never knew they produced them that long, for we never saw any around here ??? But I was out of motocross after abo...

Not that I am an expert, but I think this is a 77 model. The frame (assuming it was originally red) being red and the overall lay out of the bike. Looks like it is somewhat original or like design. Smiley has on similar that he is still scroungin...

Maybe this is a lot later model, with longer travel suspension from the factory? That looks like a lot later tank than the 'Coffin' tanks of the 69-70 models. How long did they produce the rotary valve 125 anyway?

After lookin at the picture some more, I think someone at some time or another has moved the top of the rear shocks forward a bit. I don't remember then being at that angle, for that was way before the beginning of suspension 'awareness' if you wi...

Martin I likewise had so much fun hangin out with you during and after the races. It's people like you that really keeps makin this whole motorcycle thing remain so much fun and such a big part of my life. I enjoyed hearing all the stories and funny things that have happened thru all the years. It's kinda like I was trying to say at the riders meeting (hope I didn't make too big a fool out of myself), that it's the people and friends that really make this whole part of our lives so enjoyable. It aint just the motorcycles, or the racing, it's the friendships and fun visiting that make it so dang much fun. You're a big part of it now for me. Thanks Martin and I hope to see you again soon.

Hey Martin,
You looked pretty fast on that 125 Suzuki @Waco. Enter that bike in the GP Small Bore class and give ol Ken a run for the series championship.
Hope to CU @ N-40
