an awl is too fat. you have to use a pick. BITD I would use a t-handle to push down and then reach in with the pick and just dig it out, piece of cake. Always did it by myself.

JJ, this is 76'. Weinert was Open Class champ in 74 so had #1 on the Yamaha in 75'. then won again in 75', but switched back yo Kawa for 76'. I think Howerton won Open Class National championship in 76'. all of that would make this pic from the 76...

That 1980 Carlsbad USGP was awesome! Moate's second moto holeshot was wild as all get out - inside and super fast. In the early eighties those big bore YZ's were hard to beat.
