Thanks! I am so excited. You are correct, you guys came to see me in the hospital and the doctor had sent me home early and you guys came by the house. You know, that meant so much to me and I don't know if you ever knew that. It is sooo good to talk to you all. I am going to try and find some old pics from the races. I am afraid I don't have any.

John and Joe, I think it was that road between Springtown and Weatherford where Sam crashed. a slight bend in the road combined with a small hill. Sam was a little too hot and drifted across the line as a van or pickup crested from the other direction. I think he'd only bought the Ducati a few weeks earlier.

John, about 3 or so years ago, Sam was riding his Ducati out west of FW somewhere and came over a little rise and head on into a pickup I think. Pickard knows more of the details. Hey John, you are coming to the banquet aren't you ? A friend of mine, James Naler, is gettin a DVD put together from an old 8mm film footage of the 68 Inter Am at Dallas. I'll try to burn a few copies for us. I'll keep you posted. He lives in Cleburne, and I looked at it last night as he was editing it.

I had to stay on deck,it was terrible below, somebody handed me a pole to reel at least one in for the record. When that boat started up and we headed toward land I felt better right away. I had been deep sea fishing a dozen times, no problem, Dale and Devaughn told me all the way there I was gonna get sick- must be a mental thing! See you 1/11/09.

Wow I just put something on last night about the coast trip in the Wyman forum. I couldnt remember who all was in the van, definitly one of the longest, sickest days of my life. We need to have a beer together and decide which stories we can and cannot tell.

John, there has been some questions about the streaker at Mosier, it seems like I remember you being involved. Please tell us who the female rider really was. Is that # 9 photo me and Dale?

Hi John, great pics, I think the T-shirt from 1968 was the first MX my dad took me to-- "thats what Im gonna do someday". I have been in touch with Ray Spears for a couple of years from the old cars and recently spoke with Vic Doyle. Time for a reunion- see you at the toy run.

I have to admit I'm not a super fan of Hannah, but I did see some of the greatest come from behind rides from him. I know Johnny O' put in a great `125 ride in the MXD on a dry track, but I got to see Hannah's 125(a true 125!) ride in the mud and hi…
