I had the same year YZ100 with 3 different pipes. One was a Snake Pipe that would come off of the cylinder after every big jump. The engine was blueprinted, ported and had a huge Mikuni carb that sucked pre-mix I bought it used from Tim Oliver.

Yes this is a real beauty.......I won a letter jacket at Mosier on this bike. I still have it. You had to win 5 races to get one. Funny. This was my favorite bike I raced. All we did was put a YZ 100 pipe on it and it was graet. Loved it.

hey Jim, I figured you knew I was kidding, but wanted to be sure. you know how "e-contact" can be easily mis-interpreted. BTW - I have no problem with more pics of you or others. not everyone is fortunate to have them, and you were a fixture in the mid to late 70's, for sure. the photos are a huge part of what makes this site fun. glad you're on it.

Why? Your Dad was Great on that trip ..at least that is what I think I said.
He put up with me and took great care of us.
Sorry you read something else into that.

hell no, I don't golf. I tried..., really. gave it a shot while I lived in Houston (87-95). I suck at golf, can't relax, and just don't enjoy it. Skip Franks is a crazy good golfer. he's over at Ridglea. sees Bramer all the time. I did see your pic last year in the tournament program. I live just up the hill fron the zoo. I'm close enough to Colonel's bikes to go hassle Randy Sullivan any time I want.

I quit racing in December 1980. completely walked away from it. then, 27 years to the month, I got sucked back into it....., thanks to Hance and Kirk Spencer.

I have to admit I'm not a super fan of Hannah, but I did see some of the greatest come from behind rides from him. I know Johnny O' put in a great `125 ride in the MXD on a dry track, but I got to see Hannah's 125(a true 125!) ride in the mud and hi…
