Damn Rod, so sorry to take so long to get back to you. I had my house painted, and it turned into a 5 week deal. It's all good, turned out good, but completely consumed all my time. Gimme a buzz sometime, 817-944-1363. I wrote your no. down and was gonna call you, but now I can't find where I wrote it down !

Rod,

Hope all is well for you. I'm sorry it's taken so long for me to reply, I need to check my tvrc page more often.

Are you going to be at Diamond Don's race?

I would like to see you. If I'm at an event you're at find me & say hello.

Hey Rod, I been away from my computer for nearly a month now. Crazy huh ? Well anyway, sorry to not get back to you any sooner. Keep in touch, and do you still have a street bike? I still got gobs of Chevy and Ford engine parts that I'm gonna try to unload this year.

Rod Youg, WOW. Who woud of thought he would still be alive, much less be able to ride a dirtbike.
Welcome back Rod. Lets go riding. It was good to see you the other day . Did the gear fit?

Rod, enjoyed looking thru your pictures. I rememer that you had one of the very first 250 Elsinores and were really fast on it. I tried to get Ike to switch everybody onto Elsinores, but looking back, that would've probablybeen too hard to do since there were so many CZs,Bultacos,Maicos,Huskys and also 125 Monarks. Boy, I'd sure like to have a clean CB 175 like that right now! And hey, what was the deal really, about our group TLC picture, with you standing by the van instead of on top with all the rest of us? As I remember it,Crowley (rest his soul) was being a dick and wouldn't let you on top of the van, just cutting up I think, but wasn't there something about you having just hurt your knee or leg or something? Good to see you here at this cool little thing Craig has cooked up. Keep in touch. JJ

excellent. I remember seeing Burton Williams loop a mini-trail 50 in front of Danny's house. he was wearing only cut-offs and a T-shirt. kinda looked like he walked into a belt sander. he cussed for about 7 minutes straight. Geee-Aahhhh !

Hodakas are just weird. this is no exception. notice the rear shocks, dead vertical, just like the "Stupor" Rat.

It is a 76 - the 77s were blue

Lars said his were made of steel, anyway.

This could be a '76, even a '77 model, I think. Haslet Joe has a '77 on the stand right now, and it looks just like it. His has leading axle forks, but his manual says it came with straight legs. New fenders installed by yours truly, and yes, they a…

It must be fast because the front motor mount was engineered for the extreme Greeves power. I believe MKA went to school was Charlie Greeves and will have something German to say on the subject. Martin "poking the bear" Brazil

anyone who ever went fast on a Greeves has my admiration!

1975 model? Mark Pledger went plenty fast on one of these, for a while. David Greenhill also did his share of damage to Jap bikes riding a machine like this.
