Had a blast - thank you David and Beverly!!!

Guess everyone left before the party started at Kring Boy's tent. No need to worry, we had our personal photographer on hand (Wiley Williams and a personal thank you to Kera (??) for the personal modeling pictures that were taken) ;) Hopefully Wiley will be posting some pictures soon. If I can figure out how to share my photos to everyone - I will try to post....Oh - and I had a blast today seeing all the old familiar faces - Dee

Red Banner Weekend!!!!!!

no lie! North Forty, this weekend, had the greatest concentration of 1970's North Texas MX talent and moto-heros trackside (that I'm aware of), since the 1970's. well, except for that gig Dough put on up a Muenster about 8 or 9 years ago.

here's some names for you: Danny Doss, Bobby Pickard, Ed Terrell, Mark Moore, Richard Reeves, Joe Busby, Mel Newman, Jeff Kring, Tim Riddle, Michael Martin, Wiley Williams, David Maclaskey, Mike Shelby, Trey Jorski, Rick Jordan, Archie Taliaferro, Jack Jeter, Martin Brazil, Rod Young, Richard Davis, Mike Hance, Kirk Spencer, Lindsay Harper..........., I know I'm forgetting plenty of others.

hell, I almost expected to see DeVaughn fly over and drop a bunch of Mosier Valley bulletins out of his plane, just like he once did at Oak Hill back in the day.

I have to add Paul "Bermshot" Burnett to that list of folks at Sherman last weekend. he's legendary in several ways, just ask Bobby Pickard. we also had the great Lynn Nickerson calling the action both days. the guy doesn't miss a thing!

James Pate and Jerry Burk....Both took a spin on the CZ, both looking for bikes on the internet as we speak... :)

What a great weekend. It was really good seeing Danny Doss and Bobby Pickard. These weekends are more than a race they are a gathering. During the heyday of our mx careers we were fierce competitors, and some bitter enemies. But now 35 years latter I have the utmost respect for you guys, and honored to be your friend. Never forget the past because their was a group of riders in North Texas that were some of the fastest riders in the country. Your Friend Trey

You're not lyin' CK. How bout that Chuck Sun ? He should be an Honorary Texan. We hooked him up with ibuprofin, a beer, and a stogie after his big digger, and he was right back in the party ! Pretty sure Danny had fun, he stayed up till 2:30 am Friday. Bermshot almost didn't answer the bell Sat. am. Another margerita Paul? I don't think Bobby ever went to sleep! Pickard is intense !! Mel Newman is hooked. He'll be back.

dear God..., is this a rotary "Zed"? please don't let Jack see it! it does appear to be one of the early CZ "monoshock" models with the suspension mounted there between the horn, and below the tank. ; ) sparkplugs?

This could be a '76, even a '77 model, I think. Haslet Joe has a '77 on the stand right now, and it looks just like it. His has leading axle forks, but his manual says it came with straight legs. New fenders installed by yours truly, and yes, they a…

It must be fast because the front motor mount was engineered for the extreme Greeves power. I believe MKA went to school was Charlie Greeves and will have something German to say on the subject. Martin "poking the bear" Brazil
