Squabble Creek was one of my favorite tracks. Great natural terrain and alot of variety. I also liked County Line. I lived in Garland so Rabbit Run was close but never really liked it. It was better after the Trans AMA. I remember a guy named Luckie Crow always winning the 100 class on a tm or rm 100. That was a popular class. I also remember the name Terry Tinney from the 125's. I was a novice then on my tm 125. There would be me and usually one kx and the rest were elsinores.

I never knew that the Rockwall track was named Squabble Creek. Wow - what a person learns after 30+ years...
I liked the Rockwall track - especially after a rain - it was a blast to race on. dee

I think their may have been two Rockwall tracks. the one clled Squablle Creek was opened probably around 76 or so. I hear people taking about a Rockwall MX but that might have been before my time. I remember it fondly since it was where I raced for the first time.

there was actually 3 different tracks in Rockwall. Rockwall MX is the one that you remember Dee in 73-74. then sometime in 75 is when Squabble Creek came about. Not sure if it lasted much into 76. Then in 80 another opened right off the Interstate, they were using the gate from Rabbit Run's Trana-AMA era. It did not last a year.

I liked the Rockwall that had the spring feed gravel pit next to it...great place to swim and cool off after the races!!

Yeah, Mike. That was the first one and I agree. It was cool. I have some good photos on slides from there. Priddy and some others.

The last Rockwall directly off of the interstate was perfect. It had a huge jump down the front straight and that is where i saw Chriss Hipp jump further than anyone.also i raced a Crosscountry versus Motocrossers race there one sunday. The only 250 intermediate race i ever won was there so i remember it.I remember Mark Keetch on a 250 Maico in my class just trying to kill me and my yz250

This could be a '76, even a '77 model, I think. Haslet Joe has a '77 on the stand right now, and it looks just like it. His has leading axle forks, but his manual says it came with straight legs. New fenders installed by yours truly, and yes, they a…

It must be fast because the front motor mount was engineered for the extreme Greeves power. I believe MKA went to school was Charlie Greeves and will have something German to say on the subject. Martin "poking the bear" Brazil

anyone who ever went fast on a Greeves has my admiration!

1975 model? Mark Pledger went plenty fast on one of these, for a while. David Greenhill also did his share of damage to Jap bikes riding a machine like this.
