My newest toy. I bought two of these babies. One in the attachment is up and running and the other one needs to be assembled.
Just for the record.............I haven't been on a moto cross bike in 30 years!

that's a beauty, Jack. 30 years, huh? that's pretty funny. it was 27 years to the month since my last race in 1980, when Kirk Spencer and Mike Hance drugged me, put a gun to my head, took me to an undisclosed location, and forced me to ride Kirk's Maico. within a month, I had completely relapsed and bought a bike!

It's all Jim Stovall's fault. If he hadn't bought the 73 Husky, I would have been ok............but Nooooooooooooo,he just had to go and buy that thing!
Now if I can just figure out that damn AHRMA rule book? Man,my head hurts after trying to read all that stuff ! Both bikes are in transit now, should be here by Friday.

Hey, dont worry about the Ahrma Rulebook. Go by Tvrc Rules. "Motocross for the fun of it"Show up we will handle the details, Just turn the gas. JT

Jack, for AHRMA races, you're in Historic 500. for the really fun races (TVRC!), you're in GP I.

then, there's always the confuser classes with age designations. for AHRMA, it's "Post-Vintage 500 Over- (whatever)". TVRC has "GP-over (whatever)".

rule of thumb re: AHRMA, stay away from the age designation classes. they're chock full of entries and way crazier than "Historic 500".

You've got the disease. Over-Under is 6 months before you have 2 more in the collection.

I am with Albert you will have two more in a year, besides they are maicos, thats like a staff infection. your helpless against the power, resistance is futile.

This could be a '76, even a '77 model, I think. Haslet Joe has a '77 on the stand right now, and it looks just like it. His has leading axle forks, but his manual says it came with straight legs. New fenders installed by yours truly, and yes, they a…

It must be fast because the front motor mount was engineered for the extreme Greeves power. I believe MKA went to school was Charlie Greeves and will have something German to say on the subject. Martin "poking the bear" Brazil

anyone who ever went fast on a Greeves has my admiration!

1975 model? Mark Pledger went plenty fast on one of these, for a while. David Greenhill also did his share of damage to Jap bikes riding a machine like this.
