25 cent car wash???? Craig, your mind really is stuck in the past!! I love it ! It was once 25 cents for 5 min. Now, for 25 cents, you get an extra minute maybe. Had a set of 'Super Fenders' on my first SL100 too. Sure wish someone would go to makin em again. I loved em. They were the lightest fenders we could get,,,and they worked great, just the right size to keep all the mud outa everything, but not too big to look wierd.. Still got a Pacifico Super Fender sticker on my old race tool box........Gauchos and SL100s......man, them were the days!!

They'd let us stay late and work on our race bikes after hours. I would work on my 2 piper CZ, and Butch would work on his 175 Stilleto, he being a flat tracker, and me a wanna be motocrosser. Every time "Hey Jude" would come on ( On KLIF 1190 of course, with "Red Beard" as Disc jockey, I think) we would go over to the radio and turn it up. To this very day, every time I hear "Hey Jude", it takes me back to those times, working at the shop til late at night on our race bikes.

Didn't Kaw. have Jimmy ride the 125 the year that class was loaded and Magoo made some initial waves? I remember him on one at the St Jo ,Mo National the year Magoo crashed into the flag man while leading.
