Event Description

David Henry and The North 40 host the TVRC's  Wyman Priddy Memorial on Sunday Oct. 23rd.   Flattrack and TT on Saturday for TVRC and VDTRA.   Check out the flyer and N40 website for times.  This is round 2 of the TVRC Fall series.   Burgers and Beer on Friday night.  Party and race all weekend long !!

No doubt one of the finest events ever . The excellent facilitys with showers, fine food, great promoter, great racing. highly endorsed by Elmo . Elmo wouldnt miss it neither should you. Hats off MKA

"put in new slide today made a huge difference. think that was a lot of the problem .cant get the idle adjustment  right how do you know where the slide adjusting screw  and air pilot screw should be set  Clymer manual  dont say."

"thanks for all the tips  the slide was stuck in the carb when i took carb apart  .will replace it ,Also i have the side case off that covers the carb  would that make a difference?"

"It is a rotary valve and did some looking around and found this link to a F 9 rebuild. http://www.thejunkmanadv.com/the-f9-project-epsisode-2.html So you have several leak sources possible, Mag side seal, carb side seal, rotary valve o-ring or a…"

"I think the 175 is a rotary valve with the carb on the side. If that is the case it could be the seal surface on the valve blade. "

"Sounds like air leak. If it will run can try to locate spraying wd40 in the intake area between manifold and card. Could also be leaking on the crank seal on the ignition side. When MKA checks in in can correct or add info. Assume the carb slide…"

72 kawasaki f7 175 carb issues

picked up a 72 f7  been sitting forever .Cleaned tank  put in carb kit  all new jets  gaskets .Fires up but when i give it throttle it revs up  real high  and takes a long time to rev down almost like throttle is stuck slide in carb  moves up and down  with throttle .any ideas .See More
